For Valentine’s Day this year I created a custom QR code scavenger hunt for my wife to follow. It started with a sign in her bathroom with the first code which linked to a custom, branded page that told her where the next clue was. Along each step of the hunt she received another article of clothing from on of her favorite stores – Victoria’s Secret. On each tag was another code linking to the next clue. She was very pleased with the unique idea as well as each piece of clothing.

If you are interested in creating a custom QR code scavenger hunt, give me a call – 813-299-7544.

As I visited the local Cracker Barrel in Brandon, Florida last weekend I was amused by all the vintage advertising on the walls. I loved looking at all the old styles and immediately thought of the amount of time and effort that went into each piece. Now days, we designers have it easy in my opinion, with a few clicks of the mouse we can create visually appealing work. It would have been cool to be a designer back when things were create with rubylith film, but I definitely like the computer better.
